A:: Install the new Pre-Design Studio PLUS the two required Microsoft components. Installing is as easy as clicking on the lines Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 in start-up screen of the CD-rom and following the on screen instructions.

The two components of Step 1 and Step 2 are Microsoft programs which make the AutoTrace and Redwork/Autobranching functions in Pre-Design Studio  work. Both MUST be installed *) no matter how old or how new your computer is.

*) Attention those who purchased an upgrade from Studio II to Studio III:

If the previous version, Pre-Design Studio II, was already on your computer, then the two Microsoft components do NOT have to be installed again. They will still be there from the first installation of Pre-Design Studio II, even after you uninstall Pre-Design Studio II.

Three important things to know:

B:: Start the new Pre-Design Studio and click on the line

"Enter Activation Key". A new window opens.

C:: Start your email program.

Highlight and copy (Ctrl+C) the line "Unique User Code: xxx" from the Enter Key window and paste (Ctrl+V) this code  in an email.

Add your FULL NAME, plus the SERIAL NUMBER (printed on the Pre-Design Studio CD-rom).

Send the email to the address shown below.

D:: Within 2 business days you will receive an email with your Activation Code for the computer of which you sent the Unique User Code*). Don’t forget to check your spam-box or unwanted email box to see if our email landed there :( If you haven’t received our reply within 2 business days, then I did not receive your email! Please resend it, double-check the email address for any typing errors.

While waiting for your Key you can use the program in evaluation mode by clicking on "OK" in the startup window.

E:: As soon as you receive our reply email with your Activation Code, copy and paste the code in the Name and Key fields of the Enter Activation Key window.

*) If you want to install on a second computer/laptop (see Single User License below!), repeat the steps above: every computer/laptop has a different Unique User Code, resulting in a different Activation Key.

If you encounter any problems, please include your telephone number in your email, so I can call you.

Important: with the purchase of Pre-Design Studio you obtain a single user license. When upgrading from previous versions, all versions are part of this agreement.

You are allowed to install the program on two different computers *), provided both computers are yours! You are not allowed to copy, share, forward, or lend the program to anyone else. You are not allowed to re-sell Pre-Design (Studio) once it is registered. So, don't sell (or buy for that matter!!) a "used" registered Pre-Design (Studio) program on an auction page or anywhere else. The new "owner" will not be able to register it, will not receive an unlock code, will not receive support, or benefit from any upgrade offers!

On the Pre-Design Studio CD-rom you will find 7 tutorial videos (with voice over) showing various ways to draw and export. They only take 5 minutes each, so please watch them all!
